Ritualists kill woman, pluck eye, family rejects autopsy
A 65-year-elderly person, Tunmise Oluyemi, occupant in Ilesa, Osun State, has been killed on her ranch by thought ritualists.
The representative for the Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, in a proclamation on Tuesday, said the attackers eliminated one of the eyes of the departed.
She said Tunmise, who disappeared last Saturday, was tracked down dead on her ranch in the Fadahunsi area of Ilesa on Monday.
She said, “It was accounted for around 1pm on Monday to the police that one Tunmise Oluyemi, matured 65, who disappeared last Saturday, was found dead on her ranch at the Fadahunsi area of Ilesa around 11.30am.”One of the eyes of the departed was culled out by the yet-to-be-recognized aggressors.”
Opalola said cops had visited the scene, adding that the complainant, Dare Oluyemi, and different offspring of the departed would not deliver the carcass to the police.
“They would not permit the police take the cadaver to a morgue. They undermined viciousness and demanded they needed to cover her,” she added.
