Peter Obi’s Running Mate In Labour Party – Doyin Okupe
His name had been submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission by the party.
Dr Doyin Okupe, the previous Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to previous President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Friday, said he is the running mate of the Labor Party’s official applicant, Peter Obi.
Okupe expressed this on Friday in a meeting with Channels TV, adding that his name had been submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission by the party.
Okupe said, “I’m remaining in as the bad habit official applicant of the party. Work party has presented my name as the VP of the party. Our thought is to raise the biggest political alliance ever throughout the entire existence of Nigeria since we are confronting two goliaths; the APC and the PDP.
“We can’t work alone, we really want to set up an alliance and we genuinely must guarantee all partners are conveyed along. The picking of VP up-and-comer is a constituent interaction which doesn’t stop until the cycle closes. We accept that the Labor Party coming to run Nigeria is basically going to be about youthful Nigerians.
