Why We Killed Gulak, Former President, Jonathan’s Political Adviser – Suspect
The Imo State Police Command has marched the associated executioners with Ahmed Gulak, the previous Special Adviser on Politics to previous President, Goodluck Jonathan.
Gulak was killed in May 2021 by obscure shooters in Owerri, Imo State. The police in this manner reported the capture of certain suspects purportedly engaged with the obnoxious act.One of the suspects on Monday, Anosike Chimobi, admitted to carrying out the wrongdoing during a procession at the Imo State Police base camp.
The State Police chief, Mike Abattam, said Chimobi had been on the radar of the order since the killing of Gulak.
As per Abattam, the suspect had evaded during a firearm duel between police work force and the group of hoodlums at Aboh Mbaise not long after they killed Gulak.
Notwithstanding, he expressed five of the suspects were killed.Meanwhile, Chimobi, who professed to be a business transport driver, denied being a piece of the group of thugs.
As per him, Gulak’s executioners moved toward him to pass them in his vehicle on to a spot yet he stood up to. He, nonetheless, said he later capitulated as they took steps to kill him.
He owned up to driving the hoodlums to the spot and impeded Gulak’s vehicle which was en route to the air terminal.
Chimaobi said the hoodlums took shots at Gulak after the All Progressives Congress Chieftain opposed the interest by the shooters to land from the vehicle.
As per Chimobi, the gangsters later ran into a group of safety agents who took shots over and over at the other vehicle conveying them until it somersaulted and burst into flames.
