Shehu Sani Reacts After Losing Kaduna Governorship Ticket- No Difference Between PDP Party Delegates, Bandits Collecting Ransoms
Sani claimed that the democratic cycle was mutilated by pay off and defilement with delegates gathering cash to decide in favor of unfit candidates.Aformer Senator and governorship competitor, Shehu Sani, has condemned the aftereffects of the governorship primaries directed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State.
Sani claimed that the democratic interaction was mutilated by pay off and defilement with delegates gathering cash to decide in favor of unfit competitors.
He said, “There is no distinction between outlaws who gather payoff and agents who gather cash to cast a ballot.”
Sani had promised not to pay off agents to decide in favor of him.
“Nobody ought to pay any representative for my sake. I don’t have faith in the political customs of paying to be chosen. That is conflicting with my philosophical and moral convictions,” Sani said before the political race on Wednesday, as indicated by Premium Times.
Sani, who got only two votes, was crushed by a previous individual from the House of Representatives, Isah Ashiru, in the race for the PDP governorship ticket.
