South-East Nigeria Thrown Into Darkness As Electricity Distribution Company Announces System Collapse
Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) on Sunday reported the framework breakdown influencing all South-East states. EEDC said the breakdown happened around 6:49 pm on Sunday.The entire of South-East Nigeria has been tossed into haziness as the power framework providing energy to the area fell on Sunday.

EEDC expressed this in a proclamation gave by its Head, Corporate Communications, Mr Emeka Ezeh.
He said, “because of this turn of events, all our active feeders are out.
“This has impacted supply to our clients in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo States (whole South-East states).”
“We are on backup, anticipating additional data on the reclamation of supply from the National Control Center (NCC),” he added.
