Blames evil spirit-Father smashes his one-month-old baby’s skull in Lagos

The Lagos state police order has captured a dad for purportedly killing his one-month-old child in Pipeline, Idimu region of the state.It was assembled that the man distinguished as Benedict Anieze crushed the skull of his one-month-old child on the ground, killing her on the spot.

The episode apparently occurred at their home in Idimu, Lagos State on Sunday, April 3.

Benedict was supposed to be at home with his better half and their child when he out of nowhere went wild, conveyed their youngster and crushed her on the ground bringing about her demise.

To conceal his detestable demonstration, Benedict purportedly set his home ablaze before run away.

 

The representative for the state order, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who affirmed the occurrence to newsmen said that the police close by neighbors found the suspect to an area nearby, where he was arrested.”There was no contention among him and his significant other. He said he was moved by fiendish spirits when he crushed the child on the ground. He additionally set the house burning and took off. The spouse shouted out and in the wake of extinguishing the fire, they carried her to the station. The police close by neighbors found him to the spot where he was captured. The body has been stored at the Yaba General Hospital’s funeral home.” Hundeyin said.

The police representative added that the case has been moved to the State Criminal Investigation Department for additional examination.
