ASUU Issues Queries To Tertiary Institutions That Pull Out Of Strike
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has sent inquiries to colleges that neglected to consent to its choice to stay protesting while talks with the national government proceed.
ASUU President, Prof Emmanuel Osodeke, expressed this in a meeting with the News Agency of Nigeria on Monday in Abuja.
ASUU had been protesting for around four months to squeeze home its requests.
The striking speakers’ requests incorporate financing for the revitalisation of state funded colleges, Earned Academic Allowances, utilization of the University Transparency Accountability Solution (UTAS) and advancement unfulfilled obligations.
In the mean time, since the association set out protesting, not many of its individuals have pulled out of the continuous strike to continue their scholastic exercises.
As indicated by Osodeke, “We will rebuff the people who have pulled out from our continuous strike the suitable way. We will guarantee to inquiry them and we will follow it up the fitting way. We have even questioned some of them as per the association.”
