‘Mysterious’ Death Of Over 20 Cows: Kogi Government Places One-Week Ban On Beef

As indicated by the State Director of Veterinary Services, Salau Mohammed Tarawa, the dead cows were at that point taken to a business sectors available to be purchased to clueless residents.
The dead cows were said to have been taken towards Osara, Ajaokuta, Obajana, Kotonkarfe and Kakanda regions.

Head, Agro Rangers Unit Kogi State Command, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Bayode Emmanuel, said the cows were found by certain authorities of the Unit in Lokoja.
“The cows rose up out of the rear of the State Secretariat complex where they had gone to munch. Out of nowhere, they began acting amusing, drooped and kicked the bucket right away in practically no time.
“Upon cross examination, the Fulani herder said he was emerging with them subsequent to brushing before the occurrence occurred,” he added.
