Court order on voter registration extension – INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has guaranteed Nigerians that the commission will follow the court request to expand the Continuous Voter Registration to June 30.

The Chairman of the Commission, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, made the confirmation at a preparation in front of the Youth Vote Count Mega Music Concert on Saturday, said the commission has a background marked by following court orders.The INEC director, who was addressed by his Chief Press Secretary to the INEC executive, Rotimi Oyekamni, said: “The commission has a past filled with consenting to the court request, that I can guarantee you.
